Meet Douglas
Registered Psychologist, Assessment Lead

Hi, I'm Douglas! I am a Registered Psychologist that has worked in mental health and educational settings providing psychological assessment, intervention, and psychotherapeutic services.

I have worked collaboratively with various educators, mental health professionals, and families to promote, manage, and deliver evidence-based, client-centred, psychological services to school-age children and adults both in Alberta and abroad.

I employ a diverse range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. My practice is grounded in evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients address thought patterns and behaviours. I incorporate Attachment-Based Therapy when working with relationship dynamics, and utilize Trauma-Informed Care principles for those healing from past experiences.

For children and families, I offer Applied Behaviour Analysis and Parent Training Management strategies. My approach is often integrative, drawing from Solution Focused Brief Therapy for immediate concerns while using comprehensive Psychological Testing and Evaluation to inform longer-term treatment plans.
