MACP., Registered Provisional Psychologist
I was born and raised in a small town outside of Edmonton. When I am not working, I enjoy exercising, spending time outdoors, going for long walks with my bulldog Ruby, visiting the mountains, attempting to golf, and having campfires with friends and family. I am an avid lover of all animals, but I have a particular weakness for dogs.

While I was fortunate enough to know that I wanted to become a counsellor from a young age, my professional experiences further solidified my interest in being able to help others heal in a deeper capacity. As a person-centred therapist, I will work with you to help you remove barriers that you may face and prevent you from experiencing personal growth and healing. I have worked with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions, assisting them in developing various skills to overcome communication challenges, academic challenges, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, challenges with social relationships, and more. Prior to this, I worked with adults with disabilities and mental health challenges, helping them achieve greater independence as working citizens.
I work with teens, adults, and couples by utilizing approaches and techniques such as Emotion-focused therapy (EFT), attachment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

Therapy can feel overwhelming, intimidating, and confusing, especially for those new to it. Many clients I have worked with often feel stuck in the past, that they cannot heal or experience something different than how they are feeling now. This may feel even more true for those struggling mentally or emotionally for some time. This quote resonates with me because it represents how I try to help my clients shift their thinking about their potential; the past cannot be changed, but lasting change is possible, and anyone can achieve positive change regardless of their past circumstances, and all they have to do is start wherever they are.
