A psychological private practice aimed toward healing, growth, and balance.
I chose the name Balance for my practice because I was a person who was over-invested in my job. My work/life balance was non-existent and it was profoundly unhealthy. I came to realize that the things that should matter most - friends, family, hobbies, and self-care were all suffering and I had to make changes before I was consumed by my drive to achieve.
My definition of success was skewed toward defining myself by my work. I came to realize that this needed to change, and I began to focus more on the things that should matter. I reconnected with those who loved me and I took better care of myself. It was then that I understood that true success looks a lot different than I first thought it did, and I was healthier for it.
Our mission at Balance is about helping individuals pursue goals to grow both personally and professionally while practicing self-compassion, enhancing loving relationships and creating a healthy lifestyle that helps you thrive, not just survive through this life.
