Waterfalls
Do I need a referral?

No. You do not need a referral to see a psychologist in Alberta. Therapy is for everyone!

What are your hours?

Our hours vary due to the differing hours of our therapists. Once matched with a particular therapist, we recommend you consult with them about their work schedule.

How do I make an appointment?

Please head to our Contact Us page to schedule an appointment.

Do you direct bill?

We can direct bill to several private insurance companies with your written consent. Other amounts can be paid using a credit card, and we will provide a receipt that you can submit to other insurance companies for reimbursement. Please check what available coverage you have, as amounts vary.

How often should I attend therapy?

This answer will be different for everyone and can be based on a few factors:

  • availability,

  • finances,

  • motivation, and

  • crisis intervention.

We work with you to determine what will work best for you!

What happens if I am divorced and want my child to attend therapy?

We would need a copy of any document that clarifies guardianship to counsel a minor who has divorced or separated parents. If there is joint custody, you both must sign a consent form or indicate consent. If one of you has primary custody, we’d need a copy of that documentation for the file.

How much does it cost?

Our clinic abides by the fees set out by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. Please feel free to browse the outlined fee schedule. If you need sliding scale counselling, please get in touch with our administration to confirm if our therapists are currently offering this service.
