Meet Ana,
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Hello! I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist with experience providing culturally and developmentally informed psychological assessment, intervention, and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and families.
I offer services in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and I value creating a warm, inclusive, and collaborative space for all clients.
My professional journey has taken me from Brazil to Portugal, Mexico, and now Canada, where I’m completing a PhD in Special Education at the University of Alberta.

I have a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and enjoy getting to know people’s stories, identities, and perspectives. This openness guides how I build relationships and support each client’s unique needs and strengths.
Favourite Quote
"The most important and beautiful thing in the world is this: that people are not always the same, they are not finished - they are always changing. They become more in tune, or out of tune - that is the greater truth. That’s what life has taught me. And that brings me so much joy." - João Guimarães Rosa, author
This quote beautifully captures the essence of growth and transformation, two ideas at the heart of therapy. João Guimarães Rosa reminds us that people are always evolving; they are not static or finished.
Whether I’m working with children, adolescents, or adults, my role is to support their ongoing journey: helping them tune in to themselves, make sense of their experiences, and discover new ways to grow.
